Whether it is to buy precious gemstones, to choose a diamond ring for your engagement, to celebrate the birth of a child or to commemorate a special milestone in your life, each piece of Jewelry from The Canary Diamond has a story to tell for generations to come.
The luncheon hosted some of AIG’s top-performing agents who are part of an exclusive club – the AIG Solitaire Club. These agents cater to the affluent segment in Singapore, offering AIG’s Premier Client Solutions to provide their clients with tailored worldwide protection for fine homes and valuables.
Caroline’s Mansion at The St Regis Singapore was the perfect venue for this event. It was designed after the home of Caroline Astor, the well-known American high society doyenne and mother of John Jacob IV (the founder of The St Regis hotel brand). Inspired by the House of Astor, design highlights include the marquetry, custom-made carpets and even the drapes.
The guests started their afternoon with a private tour of The St Regis Singapore’s Art Collection. The magnificent collection consists of more than 70 paintings, sculptures and engravings. The art tour continued with works by international artists such as Marc Chagall in the Presidential Suite, and a series of 10 of Pablo Picasso’s bullfighting lithographs. Following the tour, they enjoyed lunch with a special menu from The St Regis Singapore.
Guests also had the privilege to gain insight into bespoke jewellery through The Canary Diamond’s speech on estate jewellery and what to do with inheritance pieces. It was informative on what to do and what to consider when deciding whether to sell or keep them.
To conclude the afternoon, two lucky guests received dining vouchers in a lucky draw. The other guests each received a 25% privilege voucher for use at The St Regis Singapore’s dining establishments – Yan Ting, Brasserie Les Saveurs, LaBrezza or Astor Bar.
The Canary Diamond’s offered each guest a complimentary Jewellery Appraisal session with one of their in-house gemologists including advice on how to refurbish your old jewellery and provides jewellery cleaning services.
The event was a great success and we are looking forward to the next one.
