In the tranquil ambiance of Sentosa, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa played host to a remarkable event that redefined elegance in hospitality collaboration. On December 1st, 2023, The Luxury Network Singapore, in partnership with De Dietrich, organised an exquisite pre-Christmas afternoon tea in conjunction with our CEO’s birthday. This event marked a celebratory end to the year and the dawn of a promising, enduring partnership with the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
Facilitated by The Luxury Network Singapore, a significant partnership was forged between De Dietrich and the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, both of whom had met at our annual event last year. In the initial phase of this enduring relationship, The Luxury Network Singapore proposed a collaborative venture with one of its distinguished members, De Dietrich. The synergy between the two companies, both iconic French brands renowned in their respective fields within the Singapore market, was a perfect union. As a start to their long-term partnership, both parties agreed upon integrating De Dietrich’s new and highly specialized induction hob at the resort, promising to attract more customers and enhance the gastronomic experience.
Following this, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa extended an invitation to The Luxury Network Singapore to their exclusive ‘Young Sustainability Champions 2024’ Award Cocktail Event, organized in collaboration with one of their esteemed partners, Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. This represented a significant step in our evolving partnership.
In a gesture of mutual support and strategic alliance, The Luxury Network Singapore had the honour of including its members, Criadera Concepts and The Beverage Clique Academy to serve as the alcohol sponsors for this distinguished event, showcasing exquisite selections from their exclusive portfolio in Singapore; Lágrimas de Bhilar Garnacha Garnacha Rose and Kozaemon Jumai Yuzushu. The impact of this event on our business trajectory was profound. It helped us expand our network, connecting us with key industry leaders in both Singapore and Monaco. With the start of this strong partnership, more opportunities are now set in motion, with several key events planned at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa later next year.
Pre-Christmas Afternoon Tea 2023
The Luxury Network pre-Christmas afternoon tea, a unique collaboration between the iconic French brands De Dietrich and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, was masterfully orchestrated by The Luxury Network Singapore. It exemplifies the network’s proficiency in fostering harmonious partnerships with the world’s most prestigious and market-leading companies across various industries, aiming for mutual business growth and client development.
The afternoon tea was designed to immerse our official members and VIP guests in a luxurious ‘art de vivre’ experience. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by the resort’s stunning vista, overlooking the South China Sea, complemented by a refreshing glass of sparkling wine. This set the stage for an afternoon steeped in sophistication.
Our esteemed CEO, Ms Irene Ho, initiated the event with an eloquent introduction of our collaborating partners, De Dietrich and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. Mr. Ng Tiong Ling, Managing Director at De Dietrich, then shared insights into the company and introduced their new, innovative induction hob model (DPI7686XP).Notable for its versatility and precision in cooking, this hob features 19 power levels with a booster, and offers four zones of cooking, while also accommodating cookware of different shapes and sizes.
This was followed by an address from Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, Cluster General Manager of Raffles Sentosa Villa and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, who highlighted the induction hob’s role in enhancing the dining experience at the resort as well as endorsing The Luxury Network’s objective; to facilitate co-operation and exciting new business development activities between top-end companies, under the umbrella of affinity marketing, providing direct access to each other’s pre-qualified, high net worth private clients.
Highlighting the afternoon was a live cooking demonstration by Chef Low Boon Han, Junior Executive Sous Chef. He showcased ‘The new La Maison De Dietrich Experience’, a culinary spectacle featuring an array of canapés, including Pulled Angus Beef Cheek Rendang on Brioche Toast and Smoked Salmon with OnlyEg Blinis, all masterfully prepared on the De Dietrich Induction Hob.
Guests were then treated to a delightful La Maison De Dietrich experience, complemented by an afternoon tea set that included a variety of sweets and canapés. The event was not just a celebration of the festive season but a journey through an array of exquisite flavors and culinary discoveries.
